Manipulating the notion of domesticity to create imagery with an uneasy violent metaphor, concealed within a sleek sensuality. Influenced by artists such as Robert Mapplethore, Georgia O’Keeffe and Edward Weston,

 Through physical and digital manipulations of organic objects chosen for their association with domesticity, consumption and femininity I aim to produce ambiguous, uncanny and metaphysical imagery that highlight dualities such as strength and fragility, power, powerlessness and, the sensual and repellent.
